Abstract:
Provided is a magnetic filter device designed so that a magnetic substance, which has been separated by adsorption from a liquid to be treated and trapped by a magnetic separation operation, can be extracted out from within a flow channel in a simple structure, in a very easy and effective manner. With the use of a treatment vessel 12 provided with inlet/outlet ports 26, 28 for the liquid to be treated and a discharge port 36 for the magnetic substance separated from the liquid to be treated, the magnetic substance separated from the liquid to be treated is adsorbed to an inner peripheral surface of the treatment vessel 12 by a magnet device 20 mounted on the outer periphery of the treatment vessel 12, and eliminating the effect of a magnetic field created by this magnet device 20 causes the adsorbed magnetic substance to flow, due to gravity, through a communication channel 15 into a detachable collection vessel 14 positioned in the lower part of the treatment vessel 12.
