Abstract:
According to the present invention, a pathway, along which a powder inserted through an upward-facing insertion hole travels to a downward-facing discharge hole, is demarcated by a supporting structure. A rotating drum supported by the supporting structure attracts magnetic foreign matter, included in the powder moving along the pathway, onto a surface thereof via magnetic force and removes the magnetic foreign matter from the pathway. The supporting structure has a shape allowing vertical stacking of two of the supporting structures, in a manner such that the upper supporting structure cannot move laterally with respect to the lower supporting structure. Provided is a magnetic foreign matter separation/collection unit capable of providing a collection function suitable for various types of powders.
