Abstract:
Provided is a magnetic generation unit that can improve the accuracy of detecting a rotation angle. The magnetic generation unit comprises: a case that is formed of a non-magnetic material and has a cylindrical part having at least one open end and a communication part for connecting a radial outer space and a radial inner space of the cylindrical part; and a magnetic generation body which is continuously filled in the cylindrical part and the communication part up to the open end side of the cylindrical part in the case, and in which the portion filled in the communication part is not disposed closer to the open end of the cylindrical part than the portion filled in the cylindrical part, the magnetic generation body being magnetized in a direction orthogonal to the axial direction of the case.
