Abstract:

Provided are a magnetic iron oxide particle powder having high binding property with resin, and a magnetic carrier for an electrophotographic developer in which durability is improved by increasing adhesiveness between a magnetic carrier core and a coating resin. This magnetic iron oxide particle powder in which a plurality of granules are bound has an average particle size of 0.5-30 μm, and this magnetic carrier for an electrophotographic developer comprises spherical magnetic complex particles composed of magnetic iron oxide particles dispersed in a binder resin, and uses at least the magnetic iron oxide particle powder in which a plurality of granules are bound and which has an average particle size of 0.5-30 μm.
