Abstract:
In this magnetic marker detection system (1) that uses sensor units (11) disposed in at least two places in the front-rear direction of a vehicle (5) to detect a magnetic marker (10) installed in a driving lane, when a magnetic marker is detected by a front-side sensor unit (11), a prescribed period of time is set that includes a point of time at which a rear-side sensor unit (11) is anticipated to detect the magnetic marker (10), and when the rear-side sensor unit (11) successfully detects the magnetic marker (10) within the prescribed period, a determination is established that the magnetic marker (10) has been detected.
