Abstract:
Inductors, antennas and other magnetic parts using metal magnetic powder have had a high magnetic permeability complex-number component, which is a loss in the GHz band. In the present invention, a loss coefficient in the kHz-GHz band can be made low by a magnetic part formed from a metal powder that is a soft magnetic metal powder with iron as a major component thereof, said metal powder being characterized by average particle diameter of no more than 100 nm, axis ratio (= long axis length/short axis length) of at least 1.5, coercivity (Hc) of 39.8-198.9 kA/m (500-2,500 Oe), and saturation magnetization of at least 100 Am2/kg.
