Title:
MAGNETIC PROXIMITY SWITCH AND MAGNETIC DETECTION SWITCH
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2010/087100
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
Provided are a magnetic proximity switch and a magnetic detection system, which can detect a position in a magnetic environment by optimizing the layouts of a rare-earth magnet and a whole IC. In the magnetic detection system, a rare-earth magnet (30) is embedded in a movable body (10), and a magnetic proximity switch (40) provided with a whole IC having an operating point for detecting the magnetic force of the rare-earth magnet (30) is embedded in a base (20), so that the relative position between the movable body (10) and the base (20) is detected. The north pole of the rare-earth magnet (30) is opposed to the operating point, and is disposed so that a magnetic line linearly emitted from the center of the magnetic poles of the rare-earth magnet (30) can reach the operating point.
