Abstract:
Provided is a magnetic recording medium processing device with which inclination of a magnetic recording medium on a medium transport path can be suppressed, the cost of an opposing roller which is disposed facing a magnetic head is reduced, and the configuration of said device can be simplified. A magnetic recording medium processing device 1 is provided with: a medium transport path 4 along which a magnetic recording medium on which magnetic data is recorded is transported; a magnetic head 6 that is disposed so as to face the medium transport path 4 from a Z2 direction side; a transport roller 11 that makes contact with the magnetic recording medium from a Z1 direction side and transports the magnetic recording medium; a rotating shaft 13 to which the transport roller 11 is fixed; a driving mechanism that rotates the rotating shaft 13; and an opposing roller 8 that is disposed on the Z1 direction side of the magnetic head 6 so as to face the magnetic head 6. In this magnetic recording medium processing device 1, the opposing roller 8 is held rotatably by the rotating shaft 13.
