Abstract:
The magnetic resonance imaging apparatus (100) of an embodiment is provided with a storage unit (50), a specifying unit (22) and a display control unit (22). The storage unit (50) stores a color correspondence table that represents the correspondence between T1 values of known numerical ranges for each tissue and the colors to be assigned to pixels having said T1 values. The specifying unit (22) analyzes an image having T1 values and specifies a color to be assigned to each pixel on the basis of the T1 value converted from the pixel value of each pixel and the color correspondence table. The display control unit (22) displays the image, color-coded by the specified colors, on a display unit (24).
