Abstract:
A magnetic resonance imaging device comprising static magnetic field generating means, gradient magnetic field generating means, high-frequency magnetic field generating means, signal receiving means, signal processing means, measurement control means for controlling the gradient magnetic field generating means, high-frequency magnetic field generating means and the signal processing means, and display means for displaying an image. The measurement control means parallel excites different kinds of nuclear species by using high-frequency magnetic field pulses of two or more frequencies, generates a gradient magnetic field pulse for spatially encoding these excited nuclear species commonly, and executes the same type of pulse sequences so as to parallel detect the nuclear species of different kinds by using the spatially-encoded and generated nuclear magnetic resonance signals. The signal processing means reconstructs an image for each nuclear species.
