A magnetic ring induction-type elevator power supply system comprises: a magnetic ring induction generator (10) mounted on an output shaft of an elevator traction motor and used to drive, when the output shaft of the elevator traction motor rotates, the magnetic ring induction generator to rotate so as to generate power; a magnetic ring induction controller (20) used to control an operating status of the magnetic ring induction generator (10); and a storage battery (30) used to store power generated by the magnetic ring induction generator (10). The motor rotates to drive the magnetic ring induction generator (10) to operate, so as to generate power to be used by an entire elevator power system. By using the magnetic ring induction-type elevator power supply system, use of mains power is reduced, and power generated by the magnetic ring induction generator (10) and power stored in the storage battery (30) are mainly used, thereby improving the operation efficiency of an entire elevator system and the operation stability of an elevator. In addition, the impact of power failure on operation of an elevator is avoided as much as possible, thereby improving the operation efficiency of an elevator, conserving energy, and protecting the environment.
