Abstract:

The present invention relates to a magnetic sensor and a magnetic detection method. A first disposition pattern is provided with: a first magnetic sensing unit (201) which comprises, on a substrate, a magneto sensitive member (201a) and a magnetic convergence member (201b) having a different length from the magneto sensitive part, and is disposed horizontally such that a median line (Ma) that is parallel to the substrate and passes through the midpoint in the longitudinal direction of the magneto sensitive member and a median line (Mb) in the longitudinal direction of the magnetic convergence member do not cross each other; a second magnetic sensing unit (202) which has the same configuration as the first magnetic sensing unit; and a connection part which connects the magneto sensitive member of the first magnetic sensing unit and a magneto sensitive member of the second magnetic sensing unit electrically in series, and both the magneto sensitive member of the first magnetic sensing unit and the magneto sensitive member of the second magnetic sensing unit are disposed so as to have a point symmetric positional relationship and not to overlap each other. In a third disposition pattern, the magnetic convergence member and the magneto sensitive member have a symmetric positional relationship with respect to a line parallel to the plane of the substrate and parallel to the longitudinal direction of the magnetic convergence member of the first disposition pattern, and are disposed to face each other with a space therebetween so as not to overlap each other.
