Abstract:
A magnetic sensor device according to the present invention includes: a magnet (4) that forms a magnetic field on a transportation path of a detection target object (21); a magnetoresistive effect element (2) that outputs a change in the magnetic field in the form of a resistance change; a case (6) that accommodates or holds the permanent magnet (4) and the magnetoresistive effect element (2); a cover (1) that covers the magnetoresistive effect element (2) to form a transportation path face (1b), which is a face following the transportation path; and a signal amplification substrate (9) having a signal amplification IC (8) disposed in a plane intersecting the transportation path face, the signal amplification substrate (9) amplifying, by means of the signal amplification IC (8), the resistance change output from the magnetoresistive effect element (2), corresponding to the change in the magnetic field due to the detection target object (21) transported on the transportation path face (1b).
