Title:
MAGNETIC SENSOR
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2013/065266
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
This magnetic sensor is provided with: a Hall sensor that detects magnetism; and an IC for Hall sensor drive and signal processing. The IC has multiple, at least two, metal wiring layers. The Hall sensor and the IC are electrically connected by wire wiring, and are enclosed in one package. A raised intersection portion is provided on metal wiring that exists for the purpose of inputting an output voltage of the Hall sensor into a signal processing section provided in the IC, so as to inhibit an induced electromotive force generated by means of a change in magnetic flux density applied from an external source, said induced electromotive force being generated in: an output terminal of the Hall sensor; wire wiring connected to an output electrode pad of the Hall sensor; and the metal wiring in the IC, said metal wiring existing for the purpose of inputting the Hall sensor's output voltage into the signal processing section provided in the IC. Said structure inhibits the effect of an induced electromotive force caused by a sudden change in magnetic flux density, and provides high-speed responsiveness needed by a current sensor.
