Abstract:
A magnetic sensor is provided with a plurality of magnetoresistance effect elements electrically connected to each other. At least one (R1, R3) of the plurality of magnetoresistance effect elements includes a first pattern structure provided on an element surface and having a shape with symmetry in plan view. The first pattern structure has the shape with symmetry such that the same number of magnetic fluxes cross the first pattern structure by any external magnetic field applied to the magnetoresistance effect element (R1, R3) from any direction within a plane parallel to the element surface.
