Title:
MAGNETIC SENSOR
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2017/126397
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The objective of the present invention is to configure a magnetic sensor that achieves a high SN ratio, surpassing that achieved by conventional TMR sensors and MI sensors. While the overall configuration of the magnetic sensor, excluding the internal configuration of a magnetic detecting element 10, is that of an MI sensor, the magnetic detecting element is configured from a tunnel magneto-resistive element array 12 employing a plurality of tunnel magneto-resistive elements in which tunnel magneto-resistive elements 11, 11 are connected to one another in series or in parallel, or are connected to one another in series and in parallel. The resistance value of the tunnel magneto-resistive element array is 0.1 to 50 Ω. A signal amplifying unit 20 comprising a primary coil 21 and a secondary coil 22, and the magnetic detecting element, are configured in close proximity to one another on the same substrate 13.
