Abstract:
The present invention provides a method for electrically enhancing the intrinsic permeability of a soft magnetic material, and provides a magnetic shielding device that can avoid the use of expensive materials and can also avoid an increase in material input. A magnetic shielding device 1 according to the present invention comprises: a shielding element 10A that is made of a soft magnetic material; an electromagnetic coil 20A that is wound about the shielding element 10A; a power source 50 that supplies a current to the electromagnetic coil 20A; and a controller 40 that controls the current value I of the current to be supplied from the power source 50 to the electromagnetic coil 20A. The controller 40 sets the current value I on the basis of an external magnetic field He in the environment where the shielding element 10A is disposed.
