Abstract:
A magnetic substance detection device according to the present invention is provided with a magnetoresistive sensor disposed in the middle of a movement path of a magnetic substance, a lower magnet the south pole and north pole of which are arranged along the direction of movement of the magnetic substance, and an upper magnet the north pole and south pole of which are arranged along the direction of movement of the magnetic substance. The lower magnet and the upper magnet are disposed such that the south pole of the lower magnet and the north pole of the upper magnet face each other and the north pole of the lower magnet and the south pole of the upper magnet face each other with the movement path of the magnetic substance therebetween.
The magnetic substance can be detected with high accuracy by this configuration.
