Abstract:
It is possible to improve the angle resolution with a simple circuit configuration without increasing the number of magnet poles. By judging the polarity and comparing absolute values of sensor output signals a, b outputted from magnetic sensor (2, 3) according to the rotation angle of a magnet (1), polarity judgment signals c, d and absolute value comparison signals e, f, g are generated. From the generated polarity judgment signals c, d and the absolute value comparison signals e, f, g, the rotation angle of the magnet (1) is judged and a judgment result signal h is outputted.
