Abstract:
Disclosed is a magneto-resistance effect element with a high TMR ratio, to which a perpendicular magnetization material is applied.
Laminated ferri-structures (51, 52) each composed of a perpendicular magnetization magnetic layer (21, 22) and a high-polarizability magnetic layer (41, 42) are applied as a recording layer and a stern layer which are arranged above and below a barrier layer (10), respectively. Each of non-magnetic layers (31, 32) is inserted between the perpendicular magnetization magnetic layer and the high-polarizability magnetic layer to improve the crystallinity of the perpendicular magnetization magnetic layers, and the (001) crystal orientation of the MgO barrier layer (10) and the bcc (001) crystal orientation of the high-polarizability magnetic layer (41, 42) are conducted.
