Abstract:
The invention relates to a magnetocaloric element (1) that comprises an alignment of at least two adjacent assemblies (MC1-10) of magnetocaloric materials having a different Curie temperature, characterised in that the magnetocaloric materials within a same assembly (MC1-10) have the same Curie temperature, in that the assemblies (MC1-10) are arranged according to an increasing Curie temperature, and in that said magnetocaloric element (1) has means (MA1-2) for initiating a temperature gradient between the two opposite hot (6) and cold (7) ends of said magnetocaloric element (1).
