Abstract:
Provided is a magnetron wherein deformation of a cathode-side bypass for axis alignment of a cathode filament is kept and no axis alignment is needed in an exterior assembly of the magnetron.
The magnetron comprises an anode cylinder (11), a cathode-side bypass (15) which is hermetically connected to the bottom of the anode cylinder, and a sealed cylinder (16) which has a cylindrical portion extending in a substantially vertical direction, a flange portion connected to the cylindrical portion, extending in a substantially horizontal direction along the entire circumference of the cylindrical portion, and a folded portion which is part of the flange portion folded to the side of the cathode-side bypass, and which is electrically connected to the cathode-side bypass at the lower end of the anode cylinder.
