Abstract:
In order to reduce the loss of pressure of lubricating oil flowing through a lubricating oil branch pipe, the curvature of the lubricating oil branch pipe is minimized, together with the length of the lubricating oil branch pipe. The central axis of a first oil passage (15), which penetrates a main bearing cap (9) in the thickness direction, and the central axis of a second oil passage (16), which penetrates a saddle base plate (12) in the thickness direction, intersect at 0 to 45°, and the central axis at one end of a lubricating oil branch pipe (20), which is connected to the inlet of the second oil passage (16), and the central axis of the lubricating oil branch pipe (20), excluding the one end, intersect at 0 to 45°. The lubricating oil branch pipe (20), excluding the one end, is configured so as to linearly extend along the width direction of the base plate.
