Abstract:
Disclosed is a main body vise device (7) in a band saw machine, the aforementioned main body vise device (7) characterized in that a freely movable main body vise body (33) is provided to a main body vise head (31), an upstream moving vise jaw (37) is integrally provided to this main body vise body (33), a downstream moving vise jaw (41) is provided to the downstream side in a freely movable manner, a first pressing pressure application means (43) for permitting the main body vise body (33) to advance and retract is provided, and a second pressing pressure application means (45) for permitting the downstream moving vise jaw (41) to advance and retract independently of the upstream moving vise jaw (37) is provided.
