Generally, inline skate has been used as popular leisure articles by various age group from children to middle-aged people or people in the prime of life. Figure 1 shows the conventional inline skate. As shown in Figure 1, the inline skate includes a boots 18, a main frame 10 which has a plurality of axle holes 12 at both sides, a plurality of wheels 16 rotatably mounted at the respective axle holes 12 by axles 14. Here, the main frame 10 is fixed at the bottom panel 20 by bolts B.
Disclosure of Invention
The bottom side of the boots 18 is formed as rounded shape in order that it may correspond to the shape of the
sole of the foot. Accordingly, the main frame 18 is fixed at the bottom panel 20 at the state that it is spaced from the bottom panel20.
And, the shape of the boots 18 is not irregular in case that it is made by hand- working, and the boots 18 may be distorted in manufacturing process although the boots 18 of same shape is produced on a large scale according to respective sizes. Accordingly, the bottom of the boots 18 is not level so that the main frame 10 is imperfectly fixed at the boots 18.
Further, if the user does skating on the inline skate whose main frame 10 is imperfectly fixed at the boots 18, the boots 18 rocks from side to side and the used may lose balance so that he/she may tumble over to suffer a fracture or break ankle.
The invention has been made keeping in mind the above problems occurring in the prior art, and an object of the invention is to provide a frame assembly for inline skate which is strongly fixed to the boots without regard to the bottom shape of the boots so that the user is not insured when he/she does skating.
The invention has an advantage that the connection portion between the main frame and the boots is not
loosened although the user does exercise on the inline skate of the invention.
And, the invention has an advantage that the main frame and the boots are perfectly combined together so that the user is not suffered from the injury like as a fracture and a bruise because the user does not lose balance and tumble over owing to detachment of the connection portion between the main frame and the boots.

A preferred embodiment of the invention will be described in detail below by referring to the accompanying drawings. FIG .2 is a side view of the main frame of the invention, FIG. 3 is a drawing showing the A-A line cross section of Figure 2, FIG. 4. is a perspective view of the mounting block of the invention, FIG. 5 is a perspective view of the support plate of the invention, FIG. 6 is a dissembled perspective view of the invention, FIG. 7 is a front view showing the combination state of the main frame and the boots of the front view showing the combination state of the main frame and the boots of the invention, and FIG. 8 is a perspective view showing another embodiment of the mounting block of the invention.
As shown in Fig. 2 to Figure 7, the inline skate 1 has a boots 18 where the user may put in his/her foot, a main frame 30 fixed at the lower surface of the boots 18 by bolt B, and a plurality of wheels 16 rotatably mounted in the main frame 18.
The main frame 18 has a pair of side plates 32,32' and a connection plate 34 connecting the upper end of the side plates 32,32' . The main frame 18 is made of metal whose strength is excellent and whose weight is relatively light.
Here, a plurality of axle holes 36, 36' are provided at the lower portion of the respective side plates 32, 32' and the respective wheels 16 are rotatably mounted at the main frame 30 by the axles 14 inserted into the axle holes 36, 36'
And, a front and a rear fixing grooves 38, 38' are respectively formed at the front and the rear portion of the connection plate 34. The fixing grooves 38, 38' are formed in rounded shape.
A mounting block 40 is combined in the respective fixing grooves 38,38' and the mounting block 40 may bel rotated in a predetermined angle about the fixing grooves 38,38' . The mounting block 40 has a body portion 44 of
plate shape, a pair of support pieces 46,46' downwardly elongated along the vertical direction, and a pair of rotating shafts 48,48' positioned at the outer surface of the respective support pieces 46,46' . And, the bottom plate 20 of the boots 18 has a pair of fixing holes 20a at the front and the rear position of its lower surface, and the body portion 44 has a hole 42 at the position which faces the fixing hole 20a at the front and the rear position of its lower surface, and the body portion 44 has a hole 42 at the position which faces the fixing hole 20a of the bottom plate 20. And, the respective rotating shaft 48,48' of the mounting block 40 is rotatably combined in the respective fixing grooves 38,38' of the connection plate 34 of the main frame 30.
Here, the holes 42 of the mounting block 40 are formed in long hole shape which crosses at right angles to the longitudinal direction of the main frame 30. Therefore, the manufacturer may fix the main frame 30 at the most appropriate position of the boots 30 by adjusting the fixing position of the main frame 30 along the right or the left direction of the boots 30.
And, the space between the respective side plates 32,32' may be supported by the support pieces 46,46' of
the mounting block 40, and the rotating shaft 48,48' positioned outside the support pieces 46,46' may be safely combined in the fixing grooves 38,38' of the connection plate 34 of the main frame 30.
And, a joining hole 48a formed at the support pieces 46,46' and the center of the rotating shaft 48,48' . here, a female screw portion is formed at the inner surface of the joining hole 48a. Preferably, the female screw portion is formed only at the inner surface of the rotating shaft 46,46' .
Accordingly, the manufacturer may perfectly attached the mounting blocks 40 to the bottom plate 20 of the boots 18 by the bolt B screwed in the fixing hole 20a of the bottom plate 20 by suitably adjusting the position of the respective mounting blocks 40 according to the slanting degree of the bottom plate 20 of the boots 18 in the state that the rotating shaft 48,48' are respectively inserted in the fixing grooves 38,38' of the main frame 30.
Here, because the mounting block 40 is put on the connection plate 34 of the main frame 30, support plates 50 are respectively fixed at the outer position of the side plates 32,32' in order that the mounting block 40 may be rotatably attached to the main frame 30 as well as may
be perfectly combined with the main frame 30.
For this, a plurality of holes 32a, 32b, 32c are formed at the surface of the respective side plates 32,32' of the main frame 30, and a plurality of holes 50a, 50b, 50c corresponding to the holes 32a, 32b, 32c of the main frame 30 are formed at the support plate 50. And, the support plate 50 has a hole 5Od corresponding to the joining hole 48a of the rotating shaft 48,48' of the mounting block 40.
And, a plurality of nuts N1,N2,N3 are respectively combined in the holes 50a, 50b, 50c of the support plate 50. In this case, the bolts B1,B2,B3 having a wrench groove at its head are combined with the female screw portion of the nut N1,N2,N3 at the state that the nut N1,N2,N3 are inserted into the inner portion of the side plate 36 of the main frame 30 and the support plate 50 is contacted to the outer surface of the side plate 30. Accordingly, the bolt B1,B2,B3 is combined with the nut Nl,N2,N3 by a tool like as a hexagonal wrench (not shown) .
And, a bolt B4 is directly inserted into the support plate 50 from the outer side to be combined at the female screw portion of the joining holes 48a of the mounting block 40.
Like the above, the mounting block 40 may be rotated
in a predetermined angle at the state that the support plate 50 is fixed.
On the one hand, in order to increase the strength, the main frame 30 is made of carbon, the support plate 50 is made of aluminum or carbon, and the mounting block 40, the bolt B1,B2,B3,B4 and the nut N1,N2,N3,N4 are preferably made of aluminium.
The assembling process of the frame assembly for inline skate of the invention will be described in detail below by referring to Figure 2 to Figure 7.
Firstly, the nuts N1,N2,N3 are inserted into the holes 32a, 32b, 32c of the side plate 32 and the holes 50a, 50b, 50c of the support plate 50 at the state that the support plate 50 is contacted to the outer surface of the side plate 32 of the main frame 30. Here, the nuts N1,N2,N3 are forcibly inserted into the holes 32a, 32b, 32c and the holes 50a, 50b, 50c from the inner surface of the side plates 32 of the main frame 30. In this state, the bolts B1,B2,B3 are screwed with the nuts N1,N2,N3 from the outer side of the support plate 50 so that the support plate 50 may be fixed at the outer surface of the side plate 32 of the main frame 30. Similarly, another support
plate 50 may be fixed at the opposite side plate 32' in the same method.
And, the rotating shaft 48,48' of the mounting block 40 is rotatbly combined in the fixing groove 38 of the main frame 30 by bolt B4 which is preliminarily screwed at the hole 5Od of the support plate 50 and the hole 48a of the rotating shaft 48,48' of the mounting block 40. And, the periphery of the rotating shaft 48,48' of the mounting block 40. And, the periphery of the rotating shaft 48,48' is closely contacted to the rounded surface of the fixing groove 38. So to speak, the mounting block 40 may be rotated about the fixing groove 38 of the main frame 30. In this state, the angel of the mounting block 40 may be adjusted according to the slanting degree of the bottom plate 20 of the boots 18 so that the mounting block 40 may be contacted closely to the bottom plate 20. Next, bolt B is inserted into the hole 42 of the body portion 44 of the mounting block 40 to be screwed at the fixing hole 20a of the bottom plate 20 of the boots 18 so that the mounting block 40 may be closely attached to the lower surface of the bottom plate 20.
Here, as described above, although the mounting block 40 is closely attached to the bottom plate 20 of the boots
18, the mounting block 40 is combined in the fixing groove 38 of the main frame 30 still in loose state.
Accordingly, if the bolt B4 is screwed up tightly, the mounting block 40 is not rotated any further about the fixing groove 38 of the main frame 30.
And, after the main frame 30 is mounted at the boots 18 like the above, a plurality of wheels 16 may be rotatably mounted in the axle holes 36,36' of the side plated 32,32' of the main frame 30.
On the one hand, Figure 8 is a drawing showing another embodiment of the mounting block of the invention. According to Figure 8, a plurality of projections 44a are formed at the upper surface of the body portion 44 of the mounting block 40. Accordingly, the projection 44a may prevent the mounting block 40 from being slide toward the right and the left direction of the boots 18 so that the combination force between the boots 18 and the main frame 30 may be increased.
It is to be understood that, while the invention was described with respect to respective preferable specific embodiment, the invention is not restricted to those embodiments and a variety of modifications and alterations would be possible to main skilled the art by referring to
the description or drawing presented here and within the spirit of the invention and thus those modification or alterations are to fall within the scope of the invention, which scope should be limited only by the attached claims.
