Abstract:
A main motor (1) for a vehicle is provided with: a ring-shaped filling chamber (9) which is formed in proximity to a ball bearing (7) and a roller bearing (8) and along a rotating shaft (5), which is filled with a semisolid lubricant, and which has the rotating shaft (5) as a central axis; and a discharge section (20) which is continuous with the filling chamber (9) and into which the semisolid lubricant flows from the filling chamber (9). In the interior of the discharge section (20), a display member (30) that has a specific gravity less than the specific gravity of the semisolid lubricant is disposed at an initial position that is a position not reached by the semisolid lubricant during a first greasing. The discharge section (20) comprises a retaining section that stops the display member (30), which moves in the greasing direction due to the pressure of the semisolid lubricant during additional greasing, at a movement position that is a prescribed position in the interior of the discharge section (20). At least part of visible light from the exterior reaches at least part of the movement position.
