Disclosed is a boring machine main shaft device which enables processing accuracy to be improved by carrying out the cooling and lubricating of a main boring shaft effectively. The disclosed device is provided with: a sleeve (31), which is rotatably supported on the inner peripheral surface of a ram (15) by a plurality of bearings (32); a main boring shaft (16), which is supported on the inner peripheral surface of the sleeve (31) so as to be moveable in the axial direction thereof, and which rotates around the axis of the sleeve (31) together with the sleeve (31); a supply passage (41), which is formed inside the sleeve (31) facing the bearings (32) arranged on the front end side of the main shaft, and which supplies lubricating oil along the axial direction of the main shaft; and a spiral groove (42), which is formed in a spiral shape along the axial direction of the main shaft in the inner peripheral surface of the sleeve (31), and which allows the lubricating oil supplied from the supply passage (41) to flow from the front end side of the main shaft to the rear end side of the main shaft.
