Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to: create and present, to a user, a verification plan with which it is possible to establish accurate requirements for a maintenance work/IT system for an entire target asset simply by analyzing detailed maintenance work/IT requirements associated with some failures, on the basis of knowledge of the target asset; and, furthermore, generate work/IT system requirements for the entire asset from verification results based on the presented plan. This maintenance design assistance system for presenting an asset failure to be evaluated to a user is characterized by being provided with: an HMI equipped with an input/output unit; an asset knowledge database which stores asset knowledge about asset structures, failures, and maintenance content; a failure similarity degree estimation unit which calculates the degree of similarity between asset failure modes using the asset knowledge; and an evaluation planning unit which extracts a representative failure mode to be evaluated, from among similar failure modes, and presents, via the HMI to the user, the extracted representative failure mode as an evaluation plan.
