Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a maintenance timing notification device for heat storage bodies of a heat storage burner, a maintenance timing notification method for heat storage bodies of a heat storage burner, and a method for modifying a combustion furnace using a heat storage burner such that a proper notification of the maintenance timing of the heat storage bodies can be provided. [Solution] This maintenance timing notification device for heat storage bodies of a heat storage burner is equipped with: a supply flow meter 11 that measures the flow rate of combustion air circulating through a heat storage burner 5 which is equipped with heat storage units 3 having heat storage bodies 3a preheating the combustion air supplied to the interior of the combustion chamber using the exhaust gas discharged from a combustion chamber 2 of a combustion furnace 1; a supply flow rate control valve 9 that is adjusted to open or close on the basis of the measured flow rate of the combustion air; a controller 12 that detects the opening degree of the control valve when the combustion air is circulated at a predetermined flow rate; and a notification unit 17 that provides notification that the maintenance timing of the heat storage bodies of the heat storage units has come when the detected opening degree of the control valve is larger than a preset opening degree on the basis of the correlation information between the combustion air flow rate data measured by the flow meter and the control valve opening degree data detected by the controller.
