Abstract:
Provided is a make-up remover that has excellent cleaning power against oily dirt, is capable of being washed away with water, that is not prone to dripping when picked up, has superior spreadability, and has superior dischargeability when packed into a pump dispenser. This make-up remover contains a thickener (A), an oil (B) and a surfactant (C), wherein 0.1 to 10.0 wt% of the make-up remover comprises a compound represented by formula (1) as the thickener (A). (1) R1–(CONH–R2)n (In formula (1): R1 represents a group in which n hydrogen atoms have been excluded from the structural formula of butane, benzene, benzophenone, biphenyl, naphthalene, or cyclohexane; and R2 represents an aliphatic hydrocarbon group with 4 or more carbons. n represents an integer of 3 or more. Each of the n R2 groups may be the same or different.)
