Abstract:
A makeup cosmetic which comprises at least one member (component (A)) selected from among pearl luster pigments having an average particle size of 15 μm or less in a total amount of from 3 to 15% by mass with a vehicle for cosmetics, can cover problems of the skin, has a smooth texture in using and imparts no mat finishing but a natural luster (gloss), wherein: no coloring pigment (component (B)) is used or, in the case of using, the total amount thereof is less than 0.5% by mass; and in the case of applying to black cow skin at a rate of 8 mg/cm2, &Dgr L* (&Dgr L*=L1*-L0*) obtained from the color values measured before the application (L0*, a0* and b0*) and the color values measured after the application (L1*, a1* and b1*) each expressed in the CIE 1976 L*a*b* color indication system is from 40 to 65.
