Abstract:
This male connector can be connected to a female connector and is provided with: a flow path pipe member having an opening at one extension-direction end; a valve body that closes the opening of the flow path pipe member; a housing body; and a movable body that, inter alia, deforms the valve body so that the shape thereof changes between a first configuration in which the valve body moves toward the housing body and the opening is closed by the valve body and a second configuration in which the opening is opened from the valve body. The movable body is provided with a locking portion that locks a female connector in a state in which the valve body and an elastic valve body of the female connector are in contact with each other. One of the housing body and movable body is provided with a switching portion that, in a state in which the locking portion is locking the female connector, permits displacement between a restricting position at which movement of the other is restricted so as to maintain the first configuration and an allowing position at which movement of the other is allowed so as to change from the first configuration to the second configuration.
