Abstract:
Provided is a male molded hook-and-loop fastener including a resin sheet-like substrate, an engaging element region in which a plurality of male engaging elements made from the same resin and rising from the surface of the substrate are present, and, on either side of the engaging element region, wall regions in which walls that are made from the same resin, rise from the surface of the substrate, and extend parallel to the engaging element region are present at fixed intervals in a plurality of parallel rows, wherein conditions (1) to (3) described in the specification are satisfied. With this male molded hook-and-loop fastener, when the male molded hook-and-loop fastener is being bonded to the rear surface of an automotive interior decorating material using an adhesive, there are almost no problems of the adhesive liquid protruding from the edge portions of the male molded hook-and-loop fastener, the protruded adhesive liquid covering the engaging element surface of the male molded hook-and-loop fastener, or the adhesive hardening as high lumps, thereby causing a deterioration in the engagement capability of the engaging elements.
