Abstract:
A malfuntion determination device for a transaxle oil temperature sensor 30 that detects the oil temperature of a transaxle 7 of a vehicle 1, said malfuntion determination device comprising a malfunction determination unit 31 that determines malfunctioning of the transaxle 7 on the basis of the oil temperature of the transaxle 7 from the time when the vehicle 1 starts until a prescribed travel condition is established, wherein the malfunction determination unit 31 determines that the transaxle oil temperature sensor 30 is experiencing an anchoring abnormality when the absolute value of the difference between the maximum value Tt/amax and the minimum value Tt/amin of the oil temperature of the transaxle 7 during a prescribed travel period is less than 1°C, said prescribed travel period being from when the vehicle 1 starts until the cumulative time during which the vehicle speed has been a prescribed speed (40 km/h) or greater is a prescribed time (300 seconds) or longer.
