Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to reduce, in a balancing process between a plurality of cells, a peak temperature of a substrate while suppressing an increase in balancing time. A voltage measurement unit (12) measures the voltage of each of a plurality of cells (V1-V6) connected in series. A plurality of discharge circuits (11a-11f) are respectively connected in parallel with the plurality of cells (V1-V6). A control unit (13) controls the plurality of discharge circuits (11a-11f) on the basis of the voltages of the plurality of cells (V1-V6) detected by the voltage measurement unit (12), thereby performing control so that the voltages/capacities of the plurality of cells (V1-V6) are adjusted to a target value. The control unit (13) determines the number of cells to be discharged among the plurality of cells (V1-V6) in accordance with an allowable temperature of a substrate on which the plurality of discharge circuits (11a-11f) are mounted.
