Abstract:

The amount of remaining memory is acquired at a prescribed cycle, and remaining memory (MR) is associated with the acquisition date and time and stored in a remaining memory database. Thereafter, whether a memory leak has occurred is determined on the basis of the amount of remaining memory and the acquisition date and time that are stored in the remaining memory database. Then, if the possibility of a memory leak occurring is determined, an use limitation period, until a forced restart is issued by way of a use limitation threshold, is calculated on the basis of the amount of remaining memory and the rate of memory decrease. Then, a scheduled restart (and an all-stop period) is set within the use limitation period, and when the time for the scheduled restart is reached, an air conditioner is restarted.
