Abstract:
Provided is a management device (10) that manages a power storage device (20) constructed by serially connecting a plurality of power storage blocks (B1-B3) each constructed by parallelly connecting a plurality of series circuits each comprising a fuse and a power storage cell, wherein an equalization control unit (15) performs control so as to achieve equalization among the power storage blocks (B1-B3) in a state in which the voltage difference thereamong exceeds a preset voltage difference. Meanwhile, a fuse blowout determination unit (18) determines the presence or absence of a fuse blowout on the basis of the frequency of equalization performed by the equalization control unit (15).
