Abstract:

In the present invention, in order to improve safety while also curbing any decrease in the efficiency of equalization processing among a plurality of cells, a control unit (40) executes equalization processing among a plurality of cells (V1-V3) by controlling a plurality of discharge circuits (31) on the basis of voltages of the plurality of cells (V1-V3) measured by a voltage measurement unit (30). An abnormality determination circuit (33) determines whether the voltages of each of the cells (V1-V3) measured by the voltage measurement unit (30) are in a normal range. The control unit (40) provides, at first cycles, a first equalization stop period during execution of the equalization processing among the plurality of cells (V1-V3), in order to measure the voltages of the plurality of cells (V1-V3) without influence from the equalization processing, and also provides, at second cycles longer than the first cycles, a second discharge stop period in order to confirm the determination result from the abnormality determination circuit (33).
