Abstract:
In order to improve the power efficiency, while suppressing the complication of a component configuration, during a process of equalization among a plurality of cells connected in series, a plurality of power supply circuits (12, 22, 32, 42) are configured to be able to selectively charge any one of a plurality of cells included in corresponding series-connection cell groups (M1, M2, M3, M4) by using respective end-to-end voltages of the series-connection cell groups (M1, M2, M3, M4). A plurality of discharge circuits (13, 23, 33, 43) are configured to be able to discharge the respective capacitances stored in the series-connection cell groups (M1, M2, M3, M4). A control circuit (50) equalizes the states of the plurality of cells included in each of the series-connection cell groups (M1, M2, M3, M4) by using the plurality of power supply circuits (12, 22, 32, 42), and equalizes the states of the plurality of series-connection cell groups (M1, M2, M3, M4) by using the plurality of discharge circuits (13, 23, 33, 43).
