Abstract:
In this management device, which manages batteries that can be detachably mounted in electrically driven vehicles, related information, which includes vehicle-related information relating to the vehicle in which a battery was mounted and/or user-related information relating to the user using the vehicle, is written to the battery. The management device is arranged in a station for battery replacement, and is provided with a reading unit for reading related information from a battery that was used in a vehicle, and a writing unit which writes the related information read by the reading unit to a battery stocked in the station and outputs to the station an instruction to lend the stocked battery.
