Abstract:
During execution of a configuration change or a setting change for a computer system, when a problem occurs in the computer system, whether the problem has occurred due to the influence of the configuration change or the setting change or not is determined. A rule defining an influence event of the configuration change or the setting change is defined for each type of the configuration change or the setting change. When a problem occurs in the computer system, the influence event due to the configuration change or the setting change being executed is identified on the basis of configuration information relating to the computer system, parameters of the configuration change or the setting change, and an execution state of the configuration change or the setting change.
