Abstract:
Provided is a management server which, when operating a currency handling system which comprises a plurality of currency reading devices with which various currencies can be used, is capable of uniformly and rapidly restricting the usage of a prescribed currency. A slot machine management server 1 and a casino management system 2 manage a plurality of slot machines 4S comprising a currency handling system 100 with which various currencies can be used. If, for example, information restricting the usage of 100-dollar banknotes in areas A-D on a map of a gaming floor 15 is received from an input unit 104, and then currency used in a currency reading device 201 of a slot machine 4S installed in the areas A-D is determined to be a 100-dollar banknote, the usage of which has been restricted, a center controller 101 of the slot machine management server 1 transmits, to the currency reading device 201 via a PTS terminal 700, an instruction to execute a process for discharging the banknote T (100-dollar banknote) that was used.
