Abstract:
Provided are a management system and a data center with an improved level of security. This management system manages the entry and/or exit of a user in a security zone that includes a server room of a data center, wherein the management system comprises: a receiving device for receiving, before entry into the security zone, input of the user's personal information and visit information; a receiving terminal device for issuing authorization information representative of the user's authorization to enter a specific server room on the basis of biological information that has been registered in advance for the user whose personal information and visit information have been received by the receiving device; and a gate control device that, when the authorization information is read, places a gate leading to the specific server room in an openable state.
