Abstract:
This management system receives job definition conditions that define a migration job for partial migration, which is a part of a data migration from a source storage system to a target storage system, in order to implement storage system replacement. The management system selects one or more source volumes and generates a migration job for these one or more source volumes according to the job definition conditions. This migration job is a job for generating, for each of the one or more source volumes, a target volume in the target storage system for replacement, and migrating data from the one or more source volumes to the corresponding one or more target volumes. The management system executes each of a plurality of migration jobs.
