Abstract:
Provided is a system with which it is possible, in an environment in which liquids are inspected, to reduce the amount of work required for performing inventory control with respect to a measurement reagent and for managing inspection results. This management system comprises: a measurement result transmission unit configured such that a light-receiving unit, a measurement member that can be installed or accommodated in a state in which a measurement reagent of a type determined in accordance with a to-be-detected substance is in contact with a to-be-measured liquid, and a transceiver are included either in an integrated manner or as separate articles; and a management server capable of transmitting and receiving information to and from the measurement result transmission unit. Upon acquiring measurement result information transmitted from the measurement result transmission unit, the management server: stores concentration information, which is included in said information or is calculated on the basis of said information, in a storage unit in association with timing information pertaining to the date or time at which the measurement result information was acquired; and reduces reagent remaining amount information, which pertains to the amount of measurement reagent that remained immediately before and which is stored in the storage unit, by a consumption amount based on a first reference amount or by a corresponding consumption unit, thereby updating the reagent remaining amount information.
