Abstract:
The present invention relates to a manhole having a see-through window. The purpose of the present invention is to check the status of gathering of waste oil lumps and alien substances inside the manhole by the naked eye through the see-through window of the cover of the manhole such that timely collection and cleaning can be conducted, and to enable convenient use thereof at places with less generation of wastewater that contains oil, such as a detached house, a multiplex house, a parking lot, a gas station, and a road. The present invention provides a manhole comprising: a manhole body having a wastewater inflow tube and a domestic sewage discharge tube; and a cover fitted onto the manhole body, wherein a see-through window is provided in the cover fitted onto the manhole body. The present invention described above has the following advantages: when wastewater that contains oil flows into the manhole, oil and sewage are gravity-separated; gas and odor generated by decay of the oil and sewage inside the manhole are discharged together with the sewage through the discharge tube; the lumps of oil gathered in the manhole grow and generate buoyancy; when the generated buoyancy lifts a floating member, the manager can check the same by the naked eye through a see-through lens of the see-through window; and the oil lump and alien substances can be timely collected and cleaned off, thereby ensuring a convenient use.
