Abstract:
A manifold structure which can be configured compact without an increase in costs even if membrane cartridges are arranged side by side.
A manifold structure comprises two or more membrane cartridges disposed side by side. Each membrane cartridge has mounted therein a spiral membrane module consisting of a water-collecting tube which collects treated ballast water and of a spiral membrane which is provided to the outer periphery of the water-collecting tube. A raw-ballast-water channel is formed outside the spiral membrane. Treated ballast water is obtained from the raw-ballast-water channel side into the water-collecting tube through the membrane. A first manifold is provided on one end side of the two or more membrane cartridges, and a second manifold is provided to the other end side.
