Abstract:
The present invention realizes a manipulator having an improved workpiece detection success rate. A manipulator (10) is provided with: a robot arm (11); an image capturing unit (14); an imaging position control unit (25) and a grasping operation control unit (24) which control the operation of the robot arm (14); a target object identifying unit (23) which analyzes a captured image to identify a target object to be grasped in a current grasping operation; and an imaging position updating unit (22) which analyzes the captured image to identify an imaging position prior to the next grasping operation, and updates imaging position information.
