Abstract:
A manipulator system (1) comprises: a retaining part (10) that retains a medical device (100); a distal joint part (13) connected to the retaining part (10); an intermediate joint part (17) connected to the distal joint part (13); a base end part (20) connected to the intermediate joint part (17); a drive part (21) that generates a motive force to operate an active joint (18) of the intermediate joint part (17); a control part (30) that is capable of generating an instruction to operate the drive part (21) and outputting the instruction to the drive part (21); and an operation part (23) that can be operated by an operator to operate the active joint (18). The distal joint part (13) includes: a passive joint (14) that bendably or rotatably connects the retaining part (10) and the intermediate joint part (17); and a posture detection part (16) that detects the posture of the passive joint (14). The control part (30) generates the instruction on the basis of the posture detected by the posture detection part (16) and the posture of the active joint (18).
