Abstract:
Provided is a manipulator that is equipped with a gripping mechanism, the manipulator being highly durable in addition to being able to be produced in a smaller size and controlled with high precision while having a simple structure. This manipulator is equipped with: an intermediate member (30) that is rotatably supported on one end side of a first arm (10); a second arm (20) that is supported on the intermediate member (30); and a feed screw mechanism, the base end side of which is supported by the first arm (10) while a rod section disposed on the leading end side thereof is engaged with the periphery of a turning fulcrum of the first arm (10) in the intermediate member (30). The feed screw mechanism is made to move back and forth in order to cause the intermediate member (30) to turn relative to the first arm (10). In addition, a similar structure is provided between the second arm (20) and a third arm (80), and a gripping mechanism part is moved by means of the back and forth movement of the feed screw mechanism provided in the third arm (80).
